Lost in the glory of mighty Chalukyas 😎🧡🗿 History Lost in the glory of mighty Chalukyas 😎🧡🗿 History, History, History...there lies the secret of statecraft and of human endeavour. Not knowing our past is being a leaf that doesn't know it's a part of the tree.🌿🌳 The Chalukyas ruled a greater portion of southern India during the 5th & 6th Century. Their marvels are inscribed on these gigantic rocks, caves and temples. The facets of our great epics and tales are magnificently carved in these walls. A marvel of Indian Architecture and glorious heritage. 🇮🇳 I'm so proud I got the opportunity to visit these places with some highly learned professors of Karnataka. They've spent years researching all of these places and have unearthed hidden gems. I was literally soaked in their profound knowledge and was left thoroughly enriched. I vividly remember my first blood donation in 2013 at NM College. A journey which started quite casually is today an integral part of my life 🫶 This 30th donation comes during the 350th centenary of the coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj whose life and ideals inspire me the most.
